100% of proceeds sent here go to Jessica
UPDATE: After over 1 million emails were sent to key decision makers and public official etc., Jessica Miles was allowed back into her home! THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this possible and stay tuned for next steps on how you can help Jessica and other veterans in Los Angeles!
Until then, you can learn more about Jessica Miles, a USA Army Veteran, she is rated by the VA to be 100% disabled and has been given a same day eviction by C.T.R.S. at the West Los Angeles VA. She had been living there while she waits on permanent housing.
She was told she had to leave the morning of August 4, 2022. The social workers locked her "tiny home" and told security not to let her back in.
Jessica was never given anything in writing on any past violations or issues. This all seemed to happen because Jessica speaks up on the condition and services she experiences at C.T.R.S.
Examples of things she has brought up:
1. Jessica requested to move location of "tiny home" after her neighbor asked her to have sex for money. When she said no and reported it to social workers, they told her there was nothing they could do. They didn't move her and the following day the same individual began spitting on her "tiny home".
2. Jessica was using the ride share services offered to the disabled veterans. More than one time, the location was inputed by the social workers incorrectly. This created worry when Jessica's driver was passing turns and exits that would have taken her to where she was supposed to go. Jessica sent emails to the social workers and directors regarding this issue and received no reply. When Jessica went in person to see if they had received her emails, the social workers proceeded to call the cops. Within days of this incident, she was told she must leave the program.
I don't believe Jessica Miles has done anything to warrant an eviction. C.T.R.S. did allow her to sleep in a temporary shelter, less than 20 yards from the one they locked her out of. If Jessica was such a threat to herself or anyone, they would have denied that. I believe this is nothing other than retaliation for someone speaking up for themselves and others demanding basic human rights and safety for veterans in need.
If you'd like to help Jessica, here are the 2 ways;

Subject: HELP Disabled Veteran Jessica Miles Get Back Into C.T.R.S.
I sent an email like this,
Jessica Miles is a disabled Army Veteran and a mother, has been illegally evicted from her home on August 4th with her belongings locked inside. She was living at C.T.R.S. which is at the West LA VA. She was given no written notice on when to leave. Jessica is being retaliated against for raising issues and concerns for her and other women's safety at C.T.R.S. Here is some video footage: https://youtu.be/kUdO_daED7k This is the second black woman that has been kicked out of C.T.R.S. in the same manner, of no notice and their door locked with belongings inside. There must be an investigation immediately into C.T.R.S. and the social workers/directors allowing this to continue. Jessica Miles has been on a waitlist for the only housing that is safe and available to her and her child which is why she has been staying at C.T.R.S. Please consider allowing Jessica Miles back into C.T.R.S. immediately as her health and life is deteriorating from the stress of being locked out of her "tiny home". The West Los Angeles VA, also known as a Soldiers Home was deeded in 1888 to be a disabled socialed home to heal and get well with one of the best medical centers in the world. One that Jessica visits regularly to heal and get well. Since the 1980's private interest has built on the land at the expense of Veterans being denied much needed services and suitable housing. Please investigate and look into this matter immediately. Thank you for looking into this matter, My Name please help demand Jessica Miles remain at C.T.R.S.
